My Home(Masipoto)

Hi gyes Gaselo(Masipoto) this is place where i have born and grown into these stage. At the end of the hill there lies a yellow roof near a big cypress tree is a Lhagkhang(Temple)  which we normally called it as Masipoto Lhakhang. The community rituals and local deities performances were performed in that Lhakhang.

Next to that there comes My Home(Masipoto) which was derived from that Lhakhang. So most of the people of the village called our home by name masipoto.

MY LOVE

Every one carries human soul
Every body loves each other
Boys loving girls and
Girls loving boys were
The nature of LOVE.

                                                     To be very honest
                                                     I too love many girls
                                                     But courage’s and confidence
                                                     That I lacked the most
                                                     Made my LOVE hide forever.

I LOVE YOU
The three golden words
Are the words of LOVER
Which I never used
To express my hide love

The loved that grew in my heart
Was give only one side LOVE
Like a growing plant without sunlight
                                                     Struggling hard to survive
                                                     By its own strength

I tried a lot to uproot
My hidden LOVE and
Waiting for a day
To speak “I LOVE YOU”
To my loving girl.

Why RTC?

Every year around 5000 students were completing class Xll and around 1600 are accepted to government colleges and institutes. But most of them lay behinds and the direct thought of them is to go to India for continue their studies but “it is not very safe to study in India” say every parents who sends their child to India.
I too faced the same problem of not qualifying in government colleges and institutes after completing my +2 class from Bajothang Higher Secondary School in year 2008. Never the less RTC came up for we Bhutanese student to give a safe degree courses in our own country as the first private college.
To finish the degree course is the main aim/dream of most of us so the moment RTC announced to open it on July 2009 we preferred RTC over going to India. As it being the first private college in the country and with its vision and mission it helped to attract many Bhutanese. Among them I am one who came here to achieve my full potential and to become one independent life long learner.
Though we didn’t qualify for government colleges, we all were here in RTC with a computer in front to put hard work and to pay attention to our great masters. It is our parents who troubled a lot to give us such education so we should never forget to work hard. So once again am here in RTC to be good so I want to do good, eat good and act good through out my life.
